Lee “Duke” Eystad passed away Monday morning, July 9, 2018 at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota at the age of 70 years.

The memorial service for Duke Eystad was Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Donnelly, Minnesota, with Reverend Michael Nelson officiating. Visitation was Friday at Pedersen Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Reque “Frog Lake” Cemetery, Alberta, Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of arrangements. Lonnie Ray Nordquist passed away from a massive heart attack on January 1, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas.

A private burial was held at Union Cemetery, Elbow Lake, MN on June 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.


Amund Benjamin Haarstad, 38, a resident of Fergus Falls, MN, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Olson Funeral Home Chapel in Fergus Falls with Pastor Brad Childs officiating.

Visitation will be held at 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at the Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, and resume one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN.

Arrangements are provided by the Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, MN.

Dorothy L. Buss, age 76 of rural Irene, SD passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Avera Majestic Bluffs Hospice House in Yankton, SD.

Memorial services were 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory in Yankton, SD with the Rev. Mark Ostrem officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Honorary urn bearers are her six grandchildren.Visitation was for one hour prior to service time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory of Yankton. Karen D. Barrett, nee Sanders, of St. Paul, MN passed away on April 11, 2018 surrounded by her family, after living three years with cancer. Cancer stole her from us, but the comfort she gave and the joy she spread will continue to be felt for many generations.

A gathering of family and friends was held in Karen’s honor at the Wulff Funeral Home in St. Paul on Monday, April 16 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at Hope Lutheran Church, where Karen was an active member for over 40 years, on Tuesday, April 17 at 11:00 a.m., a gathering of family and friends began at 10:00 a.m.
