Border West’s season ends at Section 6A meet

The Border West cross-country teams ended the season at the Section 6A Meet, Thursday, Oct. 24, at Pierz High School. It was a long trip for the Buccaneers, who had the longest travel distance of the 20-plus section teams.

Border West, coached by Brittany Erickson and Matthew Swanson, did not advance any individuals to the state meet as Staples-Motley and Albany were first and second in the girls’ meet, and West Central Area and Staples-Motley were the top two teams in the boys’ meet.
