  Knights volleyball team presents awards  
 

The Knights’ volleyball team got together one last time last Saturday morning to wrap up the season and present players with their awards.

Coach Amy Linn thanked her players for all their hard work which resulted in a marked improvement from a year ago. The Knights improved their season record from 7-14 last year to 12-11 this year.

Linn presented the following players with their awards:

Brianna Kreft – Most Kills (179), Most Valuable Player, All-Conference, and All-State Academic;

Gabbi Beuckens – Most Blocks (39), All-State Academic;

Kaitlyn Sanstead - Most Digs (404), All-Conference;

Morgan Woodle – All-Conference Honorable Mention;

Demara Bumgardner – All-Conference Honorable Mention;

Hailey Bennett - Most Set Assists (273), Most Aces (19);

Amanda Drechsel - Coaches Award.
