  Hancock runs past Warriors for 34-23 win  

The Wheaton/Herman-Norcross football team dropped a close decision at Hancock High School, Friday, 34-23. The Warriors, who fell to 1-2 overall, trailed 20-15 at halftime and 26-23 after three quarters before the Owls scored the only touchdown of the final quarter.

Hancock improved to 3-0 in the sub-district to tie with Verndale and Brandon-Evansville for the lead. Ortonville is 2-1 after edging Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, 12-6, while W/H-N, Bertha-Hewitt, CGB, and Rothsay are all 1-2, and United North Central and Hillcrest Lutheran are both 0-3.
